Happy Sunday and it's good to see you back on the blog! If it's your first time visiting, welcome to my fashion world! Hope you all had a productive and safe week and as we prepare for an upcoming week of new challenges and work, may the good Lord always be by your side and comfort you through the good and the bad. For today's outfit post, I am showcasing my most recent purchases which is the striped Zara midi dress and a pair of gladiator booties (comment below this post on how to obtain a pair of your own). I have noticed that a lot of women are scared to play with stripes because a common theory says that horizontal stripes actually make you look wider, however, I don't think that's always necessarily true. The theory doesn't apply for all body types and therefore it's important for you to use stripes to your advantage. If you wish to appear a few inches taller, try vertical stripes as they can give you a more lean look. Stripes don't always have to be on your tops or dresses. Instead, you can choose to accessorize with them. A striped shoe or handbag can spice up an outfit, or you can take a really simple outfit and throw a striped jacket over it. If you have a round body shape, wide stripes must be avoided as they tend to amplify your size. For this outfit, I paired my midi skirt with my gladiator heels (quite a daring move I would say) and accessorized the look with a gold MK watch. I also gave the options of wrapping a casual denim shirt around the waistline or just letting the dress look as it is. There's a ton of advice when it comes to stripes, but most importantly, try always going for the look that flatters your shape most and rock your style confidently! Have a blessed week and hope to see you again next post!

Happy Sunday lovely people! If this is your first time to visit my official blog, welcome to my world. If you are returning from last week's post, thank you for coming back. You may have noticed that there has been a change in location and background once again. That's because I'm constantly on the lookout for beautiful backdrops (preferably outdoors) as this has been an ongoing suggestion from my readers lately. Aside from the location, the quality in some of the pictures could be better and therefore, my photographer and I would like to apologize this time and promise to deliver much better photos for the future posts. I hope that everyone had a good week and if you feel like you didn't, then no worries, because God has something better in store for you so keep your head up and keep pushing! Moving on to today's outfit post, I picked a very popular color combo as you can see and that's red and black. Oh, the many ways you can pair these colors up with pretty much any style. My look can be worn to for a nice dinner out, a date with your man, or even for church. I feel pencil skirts are one of the easiest items of clothing to put together and probably very useful for a lazy dresser who doesn't have too much time in the morning to decide what to wear for work or is running late for an evening event. To add on to this look, I chose to go with gold hoop earrings (recently won at my H&M shopping spree), a red purse, and a white wrist watch. If you wish to pair up the skirt and top with other colors, you can also go for white, silver, gold, or cream (beige family). I hope to see you again next week and thank you once again for the support and love. May God bless you and favor you for the new week! Feel free to drop comments, questions, or suggestions for improvement :)

Welcome back to my blog, lovely people! Hope you had a restful and safe weekend. Getting right into things this week...have you noticed any changes? If you did, please drop a comment below this post to let me know what new things you might have noticed about this week's blog pictures and I'll be more than glad to read them. Moving on to the outfit posted; I decided to keep it casual for an easy-going and comfortable look. Whether it's a day out in the park, picnic with your friends, shopping day, coffee with the girls, or just headed to class, this look can be worn pretty much anywhere. It's quick to put together as I chose to pair my midi summer dress with a jean jacket. Styling a jean jacket is simple no matter what the season, although in spring they come in extra-handy and look extra-cool when styled over dresses, or even tossed around your waist. For my shoes, I opted for a pop of pink to add extra color to the outfit and it also happened to match the pink prints of my midi dress. Accessory wise, I chose to go with minimalistic jewelry such as the mini gold hoop earrings and golden bracelets. If you wish to own any of the items I am sporting (dress, jean jacket, shoes, accessories, etc.), please comment below this post or head over to "TY Fashion - Ticia&Yanes" on Facebook to inquire on how you can get your hands on what you like most. If you are lazy to type the entire name, remember you can always copy-paste it for your convenience. Have a blessed and productive week and may the good Lord guide you in all your decisions! Till we meet again, next week!

When was the last time you did something for the first time? I am only asking you this because I did something I would have never imagined doing in a million years. Before I go on any further, I know this is really different from my usual weekly posts about my outfit but I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I loved experiencing it. I recently took on the decision to camp out all night outside the opening of a new mall in the city called ZPell for their brand new branch of an H&M outlet. I know, I know...some of you reading this are already making faces and thinking I must be crazy. Well, maybe a little. But even though it was outrageous and I didn't get an ounce of sleep all night, I can definitely tell you it was a fun and great experience with my cousin sister who accompanied me through the process. And guess what? I actually won the FIRST PRIZE for being the first person in line by getting a 5000 baht (roughly $140) shopping spree voucher! Please excuse my head wrap and how I look as it was a rough night spent with the lovely mosquitoes but I wouldn't have it any other way because it was totally worth it.

As pictured in the first photo, you can see that with the voucher I got a blue jumpsuit, pair of white jeans, a pastel colored bag, maroon high-waisted pencil skirt, a pair of hoop earrings, and a statement necklace piece all of which will be fully shown to you all in future blog posts. Thank you for the continuous love and support and see you next week with something new! Have a blessed week everyone and may God guide you in all your decisions!
