Good afternoon readers and welcome back! Hope you're having a good week so far and working towards completing your week's goals. Even though it's just a Monday, stay focused and don't laze around. Moving on to today's post, I'm seen sporting a cocktail bright yellow dress matched with my pair of white pumps and a white clutch. I encourage you to pay attention to details when styling a look like this as I have done with my golden earrings and the tiny golden bits on the clutch and pumps. Many people think that accessorizing means wearing all the accessories that match a certain dress. Accessorizing is actually a key to achieving a certain look, and a cocktail dress can change dramatically based on the accessories one wears. The length of a cocktail dress is an important factor to take into account when dressing to look one's best. Petite women can achieve the illusion of height by wearing shorter dresses. Taller women have more flexibility in dress length. However, very tall slim women should go for a balanced look by not wearing dresses that are too short. Coming to a dress color, solid colors are a safer bet, but make sure the color is complementary. Finding colors that are complementary to one’s skin tone is an art in itself. In the end, make sure that you wear the dress and don't let the dress wear you. Be confident in your skin and remember that a flattering cocktail dress lets the wearer relax and allow her personality to shine at any party or social event.
